I still remember what my mother used to tell me when she's alive, ' Blood is always thicker than water'. We used to ask her, 'Mak, awat mak selalu baik sgt dengan mak su and mama tu even went they treat you like doormat?' and her answer would be, ' air kalau dicincang takkan putus, sama la macam darah'
oh yes, my mother and her perumpamaan. haha. we will always criticize her, 'Mak ni tak habih2 dengan peribahasa' haha. I miss those times when I always fight with her. Everyday, every hour, every minute and every second.
but i believe, my mother has taught me everything about life before she passed away. She taught us how to live this life eventhough we didnt realize it. Like i said, my sisters was being a pain to me during my engagement day and they still havent talk to me. and knowing my family its always the little ones has to initiate conversation with the elder ones or to be more precise say sorry to the elder ones even if its not your fault.
its just how MY family works. Funny eh? But i have been living with them for 23 years now, i know what type of person they are. and now, my elder sister came to me asking for advise about her marriage. weird huh? a 38 years old asking an advice from a 23 years old sister. :) see, like mak says, ' air kalau dicincang takkan putus'
you can curse me, call me names, ignore me but in the end, the ones you betrayed are the ones that stayed on with you through the tough times. Family always does. Friends may not be there, but family will always stand strong by your side.
i guess my sister has learnt her lesson :)
but i pity her though. having a husband that doesnt appreciate all the things that she has been doing for him. She has dedicated her whole life for him and yet now everything went down the drain. just in a split second because of jealousy. How sad. 10 years of relationship and marriage.
May god bless you and show you the correct way to deal with this misery.
Just to let you know, the family is always there :) Stay strong!

insecurities in me
I’m sorry sometimes I get a little jealous, thinking that someone else could make you happier than I could. I guess it’s my insecurities acting up. because I know that I’m not the prettiest, smartest or most fun and exciting girl. but I know that no matter how hard and long you look, you’ll never find somebody that loves you like I do.

Last year, it was held in Genting Highlands. I was there to experience the state of trance.Wouldn't wanna miss the chance this year.
Lets all join the fun, go to www.speedzonetour.com.my for more info and www.airasiaredtix.com for tickets.
Smell me.
If you noticed, I have not bought any of my hantarans yet because I was waiting for this big sales that is happening in June. I blogged about the Mega Sale here. ( When to shop for hantarans)
But anyhow, yesterday night after bringing my babyarief to the clinic. Well, he suffered from sinusitis. Poor little baby. Can't even drive or see the lights. Doctor said, he'll tackle the flu and fever first and see whats the results. To take extra pre-caution, we decided to head to Tesco Mutiara Damansara to have his eye checked. To our surprised, the power did increase from 6.50 to 7.75. Thats a hike there right? But the optometrist said the machine is only 70% accurate. So we ditched the place. Haha plus he was not in the mood of selling his spectacles. He's busy cleaning up the spectales rather than entertain us. So, bye bye Focus Point. I'll go somewhere else.
Head to The Curve just to past our time, since babyarief has to meet his friend later. Walk through the concourse and I saw Bvlgari having some promotion. I was eyeing on the free gift bag from Bvlgari not the perfume actually, The bag caught my eye. HAHA. The part-timers was convincing to get one, and i was like ' Eww tak nak, tak sedapp!", then i said, ' I nak perfume yang lagi satu tu, tapi i nak free gift yang ni.' But sadly its a Principal pack where i have to purchase Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme Marine. Which is not babyarief's type of smell ( this perfume is fro man only). We walk away like we always did. haha.
Seriously, I am very particular when it comes to perfumes. I can smell for over hundred time and yet end up not buying anything. My perfume all this while has been Salvatore Ferragamo, Estee Lauder and my favourite Gucci Flora and Guilty.
I was thinking of getting Gucci again for my hantaran but then again it'll be boring for me because I had Gucci Guilty for my Birthday last year from babyarief. Boring aint it to have the same perfume again. Went for a few rounds and we end up in Metrojaya perfume department again.
This time we meet, Arca the very convincing sales person. She's the leader of the two part-timers we met earlier. Make a deal with her that if we buy two perfumes from her she's gonna give the Bvlgari tote bag when there's an extra set of it. Yeay! She took down my phone number and I'm gonna go there every week to check on the bag. LOL. I'll post the pic for you all to see :)
Aaannnddd we end up buying Bvlgari Man 100 ml comes with shampoo and a toilletries bag for baby arief and i get myself Bvlgari Omnia Green Jade 65 ml with clutch bag.
Take note: When you shop for perfume make sure you ask them for coffee beans to clear your senses. After smelling so many perfume you cant differentiate the difference anymore so use the coffee beans.
Dont follow what the salesperson says. They might not be always right, you know yourself better, you know what kind of smell you like.
For me, like something sweet and sexy ;) The smell of attraction!

In the ♥ of Kuala Lumpur
Trust me, Pre- wedding photo shooting is one hell of a tiring shoot. From morning to night. But baby and I definitely enjoy it :) Plus, babyfiance has stiff body due to bodybuilding. All the picture he took makes him looked fake. LOL So, me and Khairil ( our photographer) keep making fun of him. it was hilarious.Funny shit.
The photoshooting was done in the hearts of KL since babyfiance wanted and urban theme for the pre-wedding shoot.
We start from Masjid Jamek - Masjid India - Petaling Street - Pasar Seni - Bukit Bintang. LOL So KL riigghtt? haha. I enjoyed every second of it. It was meaningful to me :)
I'll let the pictures speak for itself.
I had so much fun. We all did! Thank you Khairil Khairuddin for taking our pre wedding pictures.
If you are wondering who Khairil is. He is babyarief childhood friend who has been crazy over photography. He needed us to bloom his career in this line, and we needed him :) its a win-win situation aint it? But anyway, we thank him for the effort, you did good!
Note to self: Never ever wear heels if you are doing urban! My feet is swollen so big right now. I can barely step foot on the floor. FML. Kill me for wearing those heels!
Make sure you are in the most comfortable outfit, shoes/sandals or you'll suffer like me. I learn my lesson!

Save Mother Earth
I was shocked to hear about Myanmar earthquakes yesterday night. It has destruct Myanmar with 7.0 on the richter scale. Having Thailand and Laos to get affected.
Japan haven't even recover yet and now another massive earthquake. What is happening to the world? Is it coming to an end?
We are all helpless when the mother nature roared with the Tsunami. Is it a signthat we should repent?
I reckon we should do something in showing our effort in helping the mother earth. Its EARTH DAY tomorrow.26th March 2011 @ 8.30 pm. We shall all unite and keep the lights off for one hour in order help the mother nature who has been very angry lately.
Show you support by putting this banner in your blog or website. Get it here.
Tell your friends via social media, blogs or website. The reason why people don't do it is because we forget. So darlings, do your job as a human being on earth. Spread the word!
I shall blog about my Earth Hour day next week :)
Its candle time!

Coffee and Love are best when they are hot
Do you get married to someone because you like the status of being 'married'? or because you think its cool because you eliminate the religion barrier between you both? or maybe you get married because you feel its a trend?
Ask yourself.
if you were to answer any of the above, my advice, forget it and live your life to the fullest before you embark this journey of marriage. Marriage was never easy, never is. The marriage of the elderly that we benchmark ourselves to, might be a whole drama. No parents will ever tell their kids about the problem they having between them. They protect it so bad like they protected us. Why? because no parents wanna see their kids sob over their failed marriage. Some pretend for years, some when for counselling and some bail on each other and file a divorce. Love is only beautiful when its hot and boiling. You BBM even when he's just next to you, tweet with him even when he's just in the next room, beautiful aint it? Romantic so it seems.
But have you ever imagined when you gotta live with this man who farts around the house, who pick his nose infront of the tv, who never put the toilet seats up for THE REST OF YOUR LIFE? Everyday of your life. Its all about him and IF you are lucky, he'll be all about you. By knowing men, do you think its all about you after he has gotten you as his wifey? But if you are LUCKY for the second time, he'll appreciate you, I'm sure.
When the issue of ' I'm too young to get married' came up. I tell myself, well, I have witnessed 4 marriages infront of me. They have their good times and they have their worst. Its how you nuture the roots. If from the beginning you are not putting your 100% effort in it, no marriage can ever survive.
I believe we gotta be mentally strong to embark on this new journey called, " BEING A WIFE". You gotta know who your husband is. You gotta make sure that YOU, yourself is ready. It will all come back to you. THINK WISELY. Don't ever regret it one day and say, ' I WISH I DIDNT MARRY YOU'.
Its your choice, darlings. Pick what you want. Nobody is ever gonna force you to get married. Its your call. You believe that the marriage you are building is pure and the love you are having with him is not some puppy love. Then go ahead with it. BUT if ever you felt uneasy about it. LET IT GO.
You dont wanna be a widow at the age of 23, arent you?
I was once in doubt about my marriage too. I questioned myself more than a million times. Again and again and again. Is this the right choice. Everyone will go throught this part of life. Its normal. When it happened dont freak out and because you will scare the groom-to-be away haha. Take a deep breath and think rationally.
I'm talking by experience, God i freaked out i went berserk. HAHA. You gotta chill, young lady. No conclusion can be made when you are filled with emotions. At this moment, all your maturity will shows. But its not, then you are better being single or in a relationship!
How bout you? I'm sure you have thought about it a million times just like me :)
May God bless our marriage in the future than. Amen!
